Feedback to Metrolinx
Metrolinx is collecting feedback from the community until Thursday, Nov. 11!
This is your chance to let them know what you like and don't like.
Specifically, for the question "Are there design refinements you’d like us to consider during detail design?"
Let them know that:
1) Having a gap in the proposed multi-use path between Scarborough and Pickering (Kingston Road bridge) is a major missed opportunity to help connect pedestrians and cyclists, making more walkable and wheelable communities. The gap between Kingston Rd. and Raspberry Rd and Kingston Rd. and Altona Rd must be addressed in order to allow safer connections for all road users (drivers, commuters, pedestrians, and cyclists).
2) Explore opportunities to use alternative designs, such as curbside lanes east of Morningside Avenue to ensure more bus routes (i.e. TTC: 95, 905) can better utilize transit priority lanes
For the question, "Do you have suggestions on how to make BRT more accessible?"
1) Ensure fare integration between transit agencies (DRT, GO, TTC) so more commuters of all incomes can better utilize public transit without facing increased financial barriers
